How to handle with common problems in the classroom?

In the classroom, we as teachers can face thousand of problems the ones we have to handle in the best way. Moreover, we can enlist a lot of this problems such as: trouble makers, tardiness, bulling, laziness, etc. I want to say that dealing with these thousand of problems is a big deal for the teacher. I want to talk about Trouble makers.

I just remember that when I was in the public school with a classmate the past year, we faced a boy that was shy or perhaps something like this. He seemed to be a normal boy. He liked to talk a lot. He liked to bother with his classmatese, etc. But later, we found out that he was like a shy boy when the teacher asked him to pass to the front to do something.

He did not never pass; he just seated in his chair and hid his head under his arms. This was he did all the times the teacher asked him to do something. I found this odd becasue I have never seen a case like this. This  guy was a normal boy with everything but not with passing to the front. We did not do anything for him in those days because we were just giving classes.
I think that to solve this problem, we can start doing an observation upon him we can start asking his classmates if they know the cause why he acts like that. And also we can ask to him, but it has to be very discrete. Then, we can make a series of activities in which we can make him to participate indirectly. We can help him deal with his shyness by giving him a volunteer participation. So on. This is my point of view in order to deal with this kind of problems in the classroom.  

how can we use Voicethread in the classroom?

I was thinking in the tools that we can find in the internet, and I realized that there are many tools we can use for education. One of those tools is Voicethread. Voicethread ia a very useful tool that we can utilize for commenting a picture and also recording our voice for making a comment.

In this case, I consider that Voicethread is a very good tool but it has some difficulties when using it. For example, I cannot use it as a tool in the classroom because I have to consider if all my students have a computer or if there is internet connections. So in other way, I would use it as a help-program that let me accomplish a task out of the classroom. It can contribute to help the students to do a homework and also to develop a task requiered.

Voicethread is a very interesting tool but taking into account the lack of resource and also the conditons to use the program, I would recommen it as as supporting tool out of the classroom. Only in the case that all the students have the resources needed to use the program, I would use it in the classroom.

PREZI OR PORWERPOINT?

From my point of view, I as a teacher I would use both tools Prezi and PowerPoint because both tool are similar, but both of those have a difference. In one hand, PowerPoint is useful and easy to use. We can work on texts, images,  videos, hyperlinks, song, ect. and we can do it easily on the computer. In the other hand, Prezi is an easy tool that can be used to make presentations and similarly to PowerPoint, we can add images, videos, texts, etc. but we find out a great issue, and it is that this tool works just on-line. So, it means that if we have  the computer  without internet our presentation cannot be presented. As a teacher, I would use Prezi as a "Plan A" and also PowerPoint as a "Plan B".
