I was thinking in the tools that we can find in the internet, and I realized that there are many tools we can use for education. One of those tools is Voicethread. Voicethread ia a very useful tool that we can utilize for commenting a picture and also recording our voice for making a comment.
In this case, I consider that Voicethread is a very good tool but it has some difficulties when using it. For example, I cannot use it as a tool in the classroom because I have to consider if all my students have a computer or if there is internet connections. So in other way, I would use it as a help-program that let me accomplish a task out of the classroom. It can contribute to help the students to do a homework and also to develop a task requiered.
Voicethread is a very interesting tool but taking into account the lack of resource and also the conditons to use the program, I would recommen it as as supporting tool out of the classroom. Only in the case that all the students have the resources needed to use the program, I would use it in the classroom.
What you say is true Dany it could be difficult to use this tool in the classroom because of the computers and the internet connetion, too. It could be difficult too because not veryone has a computer in their homes. So the only option could be to go to a ciber coffee, but in here they have to pay for hours , the computers sometimes are very slow; therefore, it could imply to spend money as well. I was also thinking that for giving a task and for using this tool you have to take an extra time to expalin how to use this otherwise, they will not do it as you expect. So you must think on many things before using this with your students.
ResponderEliminari agree, because in our educational system not all students have the posibilities to internet or a computer. It is true that we can find many tools in order to teach and motivate the students to learn by watching something new. thats why teachers dont change the methodology or th materials.
